USGA GHIN Ecosystem Redesign

Role: Lead UX Designer (Endava)

The United States Golf Association (USGA) wanted to update their Golf Handicap Information Network (GHIN) kiosk, mobile app, and website in order to modernize the look and experience and convince the various local golf associations around the country to move to a single, nation-wide design system.

After a standard six-week Discovery which included info gathering sessions with USGA’s key stakeholders, interviews with many golf associations, research into GHIN’s newest competitors, and a comprehensive review of their current systems, we worked with them for a year on the project.

CMS Mapping and Redesign

Role: Lead Product and Experience Strategist (Endava)

Under a comprehensive NDA, there’s not too much I can share. The high-level overview is we executed a 12-week discovery on a behemoth CMS implemented by an Independent Medical Examination service. This primarily consisted of weeks of eight-hour days in rooms in different cities with the CEO, CTO, and multifarious managers, we executed a deep dive into the systems and flows. Our weekly deliverables consisted of a report on the systems covered that week as well as initial wireframes and speculative design work that built upon itself week-over-week. At the end of the process the deliverables were comprehensive sitemaps (current state and proposed future state), user journey maps (current state and proposed future state), wireframes/creative treatments for key screens in the design, and the beginning stages of a design system. Using a Salesforce framework, we worked very closely with our development team to be sure what we were creating was viable.

AQR Bespoke App

Role: Lead UX Designer (Endava)

Flares is an older project, but one of my favorites as it was a pure, simple interface-as-metaphor design. The CTO wanted a way to track transactions as they moved through their various systems during the day. He wanted something he could glance at for overall system health, but to be able to drill further down if there was an issue with individual transactions. The metaphor of a subway system worked

Download: This is the deck I delivered after the initial Discovery phase.

No download. Would love to talk through the Miro board that was used to organize and capture my research.

Bill360 Startup Design

Role: Lead Product and Experience Strategist (Endava)

Bill360 was a startup entering the billing space. We jumped in with both feet, using their stakeholders as primary sources for the design focus (as per their request). Reviews of their competition and a narrow focus for the features for the initial launch meant we were able to iterate and revise rapidly. This would not have been possible without a close relationship with our development team.

Panasonic Web Audit
and Template Design

Role: Lead Product and Experience Strategist (Endava)

Panasonic is divided into many individual companies operating autonomously which has led to a brand-diluting number of unique looks in their web ecosystem. We were asked to do a comprehensive review of a number of these websites and interview key stakeholders with an eye toward creating a new modular design system that would allow for unique-but-related designs within corporate brand limitations.
